Valuable Lessons from the Life of John Studzinski

How do you measure success? Will it be on the amount of money you have in the bank or the number of houses that you own? Success in defined by people and what they perceive to be valuable in life. High paying jobs should not be used as a basis in order to define success, but instead how you have made an impact on the lives of others and contributed to make their lives better.

These are the lessons that one can learn from the good life of John Studzinski. He is not a popular Hollywood celebrity or a superhero that saves the world. Mr. Studzinski in his own little ways managed to make a difference in the lives of other people. John Studzinski is the Senior Managing Director of The Blackstone Group, an investment and financial advisory firm established in 1985. He joined the firm in 2006 and currently spearheads the Blackstone Advisory Partners. Studzinski started his career in the banking industry with Morgan Stanley in 1980 where he worked in the field of investment banking. His career went in full bloom and later on moved to London where he was appointed Deputy Chairman of Morgan Stanley International and the Head of the European Investment Banking up until 2003. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Bowdoin College and earned his diploma in Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
Studzinski’s Generous Contributions
The success in his career life also paved the way for Mr. Studzinski to reach out and start his philanthropic endeavors. In the year 2000, he established the Genesis Foundation, an organization that provides support to young and aspiring artists. He is the Vice Chair of the Human Rights Watch, an independent organization that aims to defend and protect the human rights of people being oppressed around the world. He is also a Board Member of the Bowdoin College, FAPE, Passage Day Centre and American Patrons of Tate.
